[glow=red,2,300]Scene I: Inner Thoughts[/glow]
What is a man to do when he feels as if he is being torn apart from the inside out? This is the predicament that I must now face. I keep having this dream of coming in and finally saving Reggie, only to see him die right before me. I don't understand it though. In my dream, everyone is visible aside from the man who fires the shot that ends up killing Reggie. Why can't I see his face? Why won't I allow myself to see his face? I am just so confused on this matter. Every night I feel as if the dream gets more and more realistic as it happens the exact same way every single time. I have tried to jump in front of the bullet fired at Reggie, but my legs always do not cooperate with me. It's as if I am meant to see Reggie die night after night. I can't take too much more of this. I can only hold myself together for so long. Eventually I feel like I am going to have a total mental breakdown. I fear that this will effect my wrestling in a big way. Hell, that has been the only thing that has kept me together for this long. I need the competition and the pain to keep me together. It is currently the glue that is holding the shreds of my life together.
I can't give up on the matter though. I have to go and find Reggie or I feel as if I am the one who is going to suffer. I know it sounds selfish, but I need to find Reggie, not only to bring him home self but to help stable my mind. I am going crazy. I feel if I find him, he can help keep me sane as his absence is the main cause for my pain. I don't blame him at all for this situation, but I am racking my brain over what they could be doing to him at this moment. I still have no clue who took him or why, but I know I will find out soon. I fear for Reggie's safety, but I know that he is strong. I can feel that he is still alive and breathing. Don't ask me how or why, but I can tell. He is hurt, but I know he is alive....or I think....I don't know. My mind has been playing tricks on me up to this point and I'm not so sure if I can trust it anymore. I'm seeing angels and seeing things that I shouldn't be. Is any of this real?
I don't know anymore, but there is one thing I do know, my match for the World Heavyweight title is later tonight and I must do everything in my power to assure that I am ready for this epic battle between me and Spike Kane. We are the two best superstars here in KWF and we get to see who is truly the best when we step into the ring. I have waited for a match like this for some time now, but I fear my current state of mind could hurt me...or even Spike. I know that I am close to the edge and I don't want to get pushed over it anytime soon. I want to wrestle Spike with my mind straight and my body ready for battle. I hate to say that currently only one of those things is working for me. My body is in top physical condition right now as I have been training harder than ever...but my mind is defiantly not there. Spike is like a brother to me and I don't want to end up hurting him because I snap in our match. Or do I? This is what I mean. I have begun to question things that I used to have a clear answer to.
Spike has nothing to fear except fear itself as I know if I do fall over the edge I will be able to climb back up to the mountain. Will it be with the World Heavyweight title around my waist though? Many times I have mention I see a time of darkness coming to hang over me and test who I really am. The cloud is near and I know I must prepare for a battle like no other. This battle can not be fought with fists, but with wits and intelligence. I have already felt the first wave of this shit and I know this battle is going to be a long and strenuous one. I fear that I might lose my way. I feel that I might become a different person during and after I get through this. Will it endure it as the World Heavyweight champion though? I sure as hell hope so.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene II: Denny's is the Shit Bro[/glow]
The scene opens up early in the morning at a local Denny's near the host site for the KWF PPV Redemption. The Denny's is rather packed as it is a Sunday morning and people have decided to stop in for breakfast on their way to work. Located in the very center of the big dining room, Demetrius Randall, Cain Alexander, and Tyler Lucas are all sitting at one table with menus in their hand. After a long discussion with several family members last night, Demetrius' face shows the fatigue from several hours of arguing. Although not getting much sleep, Demetrius has always gotten up early the day of a big event and for him none is bigger than Redemption. The three are looking at their menus when Tyler breaks the silence.
"Where the hell is their alcohol?" Tyler asks looking up from his menu.
Cain can't help but laugh as he drops his menu onto the table.
"It's ten thirty in the morning and you want a drink?" Cain asks wit a cocked eyebrow.
Tyler nods with a smirk.
"Hell, why not? I can start celebrating my victory over Milo Holland right now." He replies as his smirk turns into a full blown grin.
"Tyler, I think you have a problem." Cain says keeping a straight face.
Tyler's grin disappears and he looks over to Demetrius almost waiting for his opinion on the matter. Demetrius places his menu in the center of the table and looks over to Tyler.
"We need to have an intervention buddy. You alcoholism is not only effecting you, but its effecting your friends and family." Demetrius replies his face stone cold.
Tyler's eye begin to dart unsure if they are serious or just yanking his chain. Cain folds his hands in front of his and looks directly at Tyler.
"We also need to speak about something else that has been ailing us, Tyler.....Do you know what I am talking about?" Cain asks, holding back a smile.
Tyler looks over to Demetrius now confused more than anything.
"He is talking about your choice to be a homosexual." Demetrius says.
Instantly, he and Cain burst out with laughter as Tyler glares at them.
"You guys are dicks." Tyler says as he tosses his menu over his shoulder, just for the hell of it.
"We had you going though." Cain says still laughing as the waiter approaches the table.
The waiter stands about five nine and has a very fit body. He long blond hair falls past the middle of her back and help highlight her bright blue eyes. She has a beautiful smile and her name tag reads "Sheila". She pulls out a pad and a pen from the pouch on her apron.
"Now what can I be getting you boys today?" She asks in a soft voice.
All three of them just look back at each other and give mental high fives as they stare at the beautiful thing before them. She looks to Tyler first.
"Um....I'll just have some pancakes." Tyler says as he stares at her breasts.
She then looks across the table at Cain.
"And you?" She asks.
Cain puts on his suave voice as he orders.
"I'll have a grand slam breakfast." He says with a wink.
Sheila smiles and then turns her attention to Demetrius.
"I'll just have some eggs." Demetrius replies, not looking at her at all.
She writes down the information and then smiles.
"Your food will be ready in a while." She gives as nod and then makes her way back towards the kitchen.
Cain and Tyler can't conceal their interest in her as she walks away.
"Did you see her?" Cain asks, not directing the question at anyone.
"Dude, I have so fucked her before." Tyler says with a grin.
The three of them share a laugh. Cain is the first one to change the subject.
"So how you think you are going to do against Holland, Tyler?" Cain asks taking a sip of the water in front of him.
Tyler gives a fake laugh and then replies.
"You kidding right? This guy is a joke. I have defeated guys that are bigger and more talented than him." Tyler says, sounding very cocky.
"But you didn't beat Demetrius in nCw." Cain says, giving a sharp come back.
Tyler's grin disappears and he is obviously shitty.
"Oh too soon?" Cain says raising his voice with each word.
Without looking, he and Demetrius give each other a high five and laugh.
"You guys can take that high five and go fuck each other." Tyler says with a smirk.
Cain finishes laughing and then turns his attention to Demetrius.
"What about you D? You got a bigger match than both of us." Cain asks.
Demetrius looks up as several thoughts begin to run through his head. He tries to force them back but can't and is faced with the reality of having to face one of his friends for the biggest title KWF has to offer.
"Well, I honestly don't know. I think I can beat him, but I just ain't sure yet." Demetrius replies.
"Pussy." Cain says as he and Tyler start to laugh.
"Your sitting there asking people about their match, what about your match bitch?" Demetrius asks Cain.
Cain continues to laugh.
"Hell, I got this one in the bag. I actually think I will be the only one out of the three of us here to come back with a title." Cain says with a smirk.
All three laugh as Sheila returns with their food. Cain and Tyler continue to stare as she hands them their plates. Demetrius keeps his attention away from her and to his food as he instantly starts eating once she sets the plate down. Sheila stares at Demetrius, obviously interested, but he doesn't return the stare.
"Enjoy, your meal." She says with a forced smile as she makes her way over to another table.
After several minutes of silence, the plates before them are cleaned and they are stuffed.
"Ah! Now thats a meal!" Cain exclaims before letting out a loud burp.
Tyler's attention is still on Sheila as she passes by the table.
"Get here number." Cain says as Tyler follows her ass with his eyes.
"I'm damn near bout to." Tyler says.
Demetrius finishes his cup of water and slides it out by his plate.
"She's not interested in you." Demetrius says as he looks up at Tyler.
"Bet." Tyler says, testing Demetrius.
"I put five hundred on it." Demetrius says with a smirk.
"Deal." Tyler says.
Instantly he gets up and makes his way over to Sheila. She is leaning against the counter by the cash register. Tyler places his hand on her shoulder and looks her straight in the eyes. They begin to speak and laugh with one another. Cain and Demetrius watch on as she pulls out a piece of paper and writes her number down on it. She hands it to him and points back at the table. Tyler's expression changes as he makes his way back to the table.
"How'd it go?" Cain asks with a laugh.
Tyler's face show no emotion and he tosses the number at Demetrius.
"You'll get your money on Tuesday nigga." Tyler says as he sits down.
Cain and Demetrius burst out with laughter as Tyler sits down with a pissed look on his face. The scene fades as they are brought the check for their food, Cain and Demetrius still laughing at Tyler.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene III: Final Preparation[/glow]
The scene opens up with Demetrius in the weight room finishing up his last workout before his upcoming match against Spike Kane. He grey Under Armor shirt is soaked with sweat as he makes his way over to his last station, bench press. The weight room is rather large and there are quite a few people working out. As Demetrius makes his way towards the bench, people seem to just step aside, wanting to see what this man can actually do. Demetrius makes his way to the bench and begins to place more metal plates on the bench. He steps back and counts the weight. The bar totals 450 pounds. Demetrius smirks and lays down as a small group has gathered around him. Demetrius goes to grab the bar, when he looks up and notices a very large man is standing over him, ready to help spot him.
"I got you." He says as he places his hands on the bar with Demetrius.
Demetrius nods and slowly counts down from three.
"3......2......1" Demetrius lets out a whoosh of breathe.
The man helps him lift the bar off the rack and then steps back so that Demetrius may be able to do the reps himself. Demetrius slowly begins to bench it. The people watch on it awe as he his sixth rep rather easily. He finishes the set of ten and places the bar back on the rack. He sits up and looks at the weight. People stare wide eyed as he places more weight on the bar. He steps back and counts the weight Nice again to make sure. Now the bar totals 500 pounds. Demetrius lays down and without saying anything lifts the bar off the rack and quickly hits it eight times with ease. He places the bar on the rack and sits up. The people begin to clap as Demetrius smiles. The people then slowly begin to disperse as Demetrius signals he is done with bench.
"Good sets." The large man says before making his own way over to bicep curl.
Demetrius grabs his towel and wipes his face off. Once he removes the towel, Tom Devil is standing in front of him.
"Your stronger than I thought Demetrius." Tom says with a smile.
Demetrius laughs and tosses his towel in a nearby bin signaling that he is finished with his workout.
"I do what I can." Demetrius replies as the two of them make their way to the back locker room so that Demetrius can grab his things. On the way, Tom brings up his upcoming match.
"So you ready for tonight?" He asks Demetrius.
"Hell, I don't think I can be any more prepared than I already am." Demetrius says.
"Well, I'm just worried about ya man. You got a lot of personal shit on and I just don't want to see you go out there and Spike Kane turn his back on you once you beat him for the World Heavyweight title." Tom says, showing his confidence in Demetrius.
Demetrius nods knowing that Tom is speaking the truth. Spike has been known for turning his back on friends for his own personal gains.
"Oh well. He turns his back on me, then so be it. I feel that he won't though. It would be a hell of a lot more beneficial for him to have me as a friend rather than an enemy." Demetrius plies.
"True. But you aren't worried about all of the Fallen turning on you?" Tom questions.
Demetrius stops walking. Shit. He hasn't thought of that at all. He always knew there would be a chance of Spike turning on him, but the other three members of the Fallen? Spike has been know as a master manipulator and this could be part of his plan.
"Shit, Tom. I haven't really thought of that. I guess I will just get my ass beat and take my title to the hospital with me." Demetrius says with a slight smirk because he knows there is a chance of the situation happening.
"Let's hope for the best though." Tom says as they walk to the locker that contains Demetrius' belongings.
"Yeah. I want that title so bad Tom." Demetrius says as he kicks his workout shoes off and throws on some flip flops.
"I know you do man. I have confidence in you. I can feel that you are ready for this big match." Tom says.
Demetrius throws his bag over his shoulder and turns around.
"Alright well, I'm going to head to the arena and shoot a promo right quick before my match. I'll see you after the show?" Demetrius says as he walks towards the exit.
"Defiantly bro. Make sure you bring that World Heavyweight title with you." Tom says with a laugh.
"You bet." Demetrius says with a smirk.
The scene fades as Demetrius walks out the door.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene IV: All or Nothing[/glow]
The scene opens up with Demetrius standing in the middle of the empty ring. The crew is working on running wires and several other things that Demetrius has no clue about. Demetrius is wearing a pair of basketball shorts and a Fallen logo t-shirt. Demetrius stands ready to address his fans, friends, and Spike Kane.
"The day has come for us, Spike Kane. In just a few hours we will step into this very ring and throw everything we have learned throughout our entire lives into one match. This is where all the blood, sweat and tears are made worth it. This is where two men will enter legends, but one will leave a champion. Did he just say legends? Yes, I did Spike. You may have more achievements to write down on your resume than me, but you have not effected the ring like I have with your presence and this, I feel, puts me on that legendary status. I move crowds and cause entertainment with my matches. No matter what I do, the fans are here week in and week out cheering my name. That in turn makes me a legend.
Two legends, one title. How is this thing going to end for us Spike? We are friends and we want the best for each other, but this is something unheard of. We have busted our asses to get here and that means neither of us are going to just lay down for the other. We may have a brotherhood, but I will not accept that. I want to beat you fair and square. When I beat you, I want to know that I beat you at your best, no matter when that win may be. When people lose a match, most make excuses for the reason that happened and I just hope that this isn't the case for either of us because you and I know that this will not be our only encounter.
We are too damn good to only meet in the ring once. Now I don't pay too much attention to the hype for our match, but I happened to be watching television last night and we were being talked about on nation television shows. People are speaking about how our match could help take the business to the next level, not only for our federation but for every single one of them that is in existence. We can change the world with our match? Hell, if we do, we do. In my honest opinion, fuck the world as I am all about the World Heavyweight title today. Today is my day. I am not going to let hype or changing the world interfere with that. I have waited too long in my career for another world title reign to let this one go and fall through the cracks of my fingers."
Demetrius licks his lips and slowly begins to walk around the thinking thinking of every single match in his career that has led him up to this point. There has been so many that have been memorable and then there have been others that have just faded with the times.
"Kane, you have no idea how bad I want this win. I would give my life if it meant I could hold a title as prestigious as the one we will be fighting for in just a few hours. The thing is, I don't want it just handed to me. On any other occasion, I honestly wouldn't care if I was just handed it as I would prove that I am worthy of it later on. This occasion is different though. I want to earn this title. I want to beat the best to be the best and since you are the only other wrestler left, you are obviously the best. If I beat you...there is no way to deny that I am the best that KWF has to offer.
I can't wait until that bells rings and we get to see who is truly the better wrestler. All the years of preparation have boiled up to this point for me. I need to be world champion to know that I am doing things right. If I lose to you...well...I don't know what I would do. Thats the thing though Spike, as these days have progressed I have found myself more and more confident in my abilities to beat you. It is not because I think I am superior. As the days have passed I can feel my hunger for the title grow and it my mind, there is no way that you want to be World Heavyweight champion more than I do. I dream about being the champion and I live every day to do it. You were right when you said I hungered for gold. Gold equals domination, but I honestly don't care about the domination. I just need to know that I am the top dog and everything in my mind will be okay. I love being able to be in control of every situation that is placed before me and I feel that being the World Heavyweight champion will do that for me.
With the World Heavyweight title around my waist, Sean Mason will treat me as his best superstar and there is no way to go and argue it. That title states you are the best and I am not going to lie...I want to be the best. I have chose to take a different route than you to get there though, Spike. You have stepped over innocent people and destroyed their lives. I chose to go and defeat men that were evil and vile. I beat the men that took out their friends to get where they were and look where it got me. Being the good guy got me one step away from being World Heavyweight champion. Being the bad guy has done the same for you. I think I shocked the world when I joined you, but I saw what your intentions were with the Fallen and that intrigued me. I decided to join despite being known as the good guy. Now we must face off as brothers, but at two different ends of the spectrum. I can't wait for this either. It is the ultimate match-up. Will good or evil win? That is not the battle I am here to worry about. I just want that World title Spike. Fuck being the good guy or the bad guy. Right now I am a wrestler and what I have been told to do is go down to the ring and win. I plan on doing just that tonight Spike, no matter what."
Demetrius smirks as the scene fades.
What is a man to do when he feels as if he is being torn apart from the inside out? This is the predicament that I must now face. I keep having this dream of coming in and finally saving Reggie, only to see him die right before me. I don't understand it though.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene IV: All or Nothing[/glow]
