[glow=red,2,300]Scene I: Inner Thoughts[/glow]
What the hell is happening to me? As I get loser and closer to bring the World Heavyweight title home with me, I seem to be losing my mind. I am seeing things that I shouldn't be seeing, hearing things that I shouldn't be hearing and honestly...it is scaring the living shit out of me. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. Talking to angels?! Has that happened to anyone since the biblical days? What makes me so special that I get to speak with one of these celestial beings? I do not know the answer to any of these questions and it is bothering me greatly. I have a huge match coming up and I can not me letting things like this tear me apart mentally. I'm not going to lie...I feel like my brain is destroying itself from the inside out, but I can not let that stop me. Angels, demons, heaven, hell, God, or Devil...I will go down to that wrestling ring and lay everything I have on the line for a prize that is greater to me that life itself.
The days draw to a close and each day I get one step closer to my title match against a man that I look at as a brother, Spike Kane. We have a mutual respect for each other and we don't intend on hurting each other in our match. Or do we? It isn't spoken at all times, but Spike Kane has pretty much declared himself the leader of this brotherhood. Many people out there think that I should be the man leading the four of us into the promise land. Should I be? No, I am just here to win and get some gold around my waist. The title of leader is one of the few titles I don't care about holding. I just want to go out there and get that world title around my waist before Kane and I get bad blood for each other. We are brother's, one in the same in certain ways...but we are also competitors. We plan to go out there and bust our asses for the title that we both have a certain envy for. We are arguably the two best wrestlers here in KWF as we sit here the two finalists for the tournament. Now we get to go out there and prove who is better. Kane mentioned that he feels he must beat me once in his career to move on. I feel the same.
I am going out to the ring with winning in mind and that is it. I must clear my head of these angels. Wait, can I be one hundred percent sure that they are even angels? I seem to recall several stories about people who mistook angels for demons and intended up destroying themselves and everyone they loved based of ill advice. Am I currently in one of those situations? I have seen where my cousin is being held, but is it best for me to go and take care of it by myself? I do not mean bringing my Fallen brothers, but should I alert the authorities in the area? I don't know why, but there is something that is telling me in the back of my head that going in there guns blazing on my own terms is not the best idea for me or Reggie.
He has been gone for so long now though...I feel like I am letting him down. I said I would protect him no matter what when we were younger, but obviously I have not done a good job up to this point. He has been taken and beaten to within an inch of death and yet he is still not home safe. I feel like I failed somewhere. I have broken many promises and I think it is time for me to right my wrongs. I am here for him and no one else. He is one of the only people in my family that has kept contact over the years. His moms and I don't even talk no more. They all be on that money grubbin shit, but Reggie ain't like that. He is a down to earth kind of kid. He has a bright future ahead, but it is my fault that the doors on his future are slowly starting to close. I need to get him back home safely. No more sitting back on my part...it is time for me to act.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene II: No More Mr. Nice Guy[/glow]
The scene opens up across the street from a large warehouse. Based on the boarded up windows and chain locks on the doors, you can tell it is run down and no longer used. Directly across the street from the warehouse stands Demetrius Randall. Demetrius stands with his hood over his head and his hands in his waistband as a heavy rain begins to fall. His eyes are full of determination as he stares at the warehouse in disgust.
"This is the place." Demetrius says aloud.
Demetrius places each one of his hands on the nines in his waistband. He slowly moves his hands up to the bullet proof vest under his hoodie, making sure it is secure and covering his whole chest. In a slow pace, he walks back to a small back car and pops the trunk. The car has no license plate meaning no one can tie the car to Demetrius. Demetrius reaches in the back and pulls out a large double barrel shotgun. He stares at it as his face continues to show no emotion. He slams the door and makes his way towards the warehouse. Before reaching the front entrance to it, he cocks the shotgun. In one swift motion he kicks the door open and walks in with the shotgun pointing in front of him. A man sitting behind a small desk jumps up with a gun in his hand and lunges for Demetrius. Before the man can do an damage, Demetrius hits him with the butt of the shotgun. The man falls back into the desk and flips over it. Demetrius walks over to him and places the sole of his shoe on the man's throat.
"Where's Reggie?" Demetrius demands, his voice keeping a monotonous tone.
The man begins to laugh hysterically.
"You won't make it to him before he dies!" The man says with a high pitched laugh.
Demetrius stares the man coldly in the eyes. Once again he cocks the shotguns back and connects the butt of the gun with the man's head. A large gash opens across the man's entire forehead and begins to bleed profucivley. Demetrius then points the gun at him.
"Now tell me where he is before I blow you head off!" Demetrius demands once again, raising his voice in annoyance.
The man tries to stare at him through the blood, but it is damn near impossible.
"He....he is behind that door." The man manges to squeal out under the pressure of Demetrius' shoe.
Demetrius takes his shoe off the man's throat and looks to the door. He takes a few steps towards it. The man manages to pull himself up to his feet using desk. He stares at Demetrius and points a warning finger.
"You won't make it out of here alive!" He threatens, staggering as he talks.
Demetrius turns around with a cold glare.
"You won't either." He replies as he fires one shotgun shell into the man's chest, dropping him instantly.
Demetrius cocks the shotgun again before turning around and kicking the door in. He steps into the very large room and looks around. The room looks more like an old airplane hanger than a warehouse. The room is completely empty aside from a room to the right and a chair sitting dead center of the room with Reggie tied to it. Demetrius sees Reggie, but instead of making his way to him turns his attention towards the room. Demetrius walks through the opened door only to see three men sitting at a table playing cards. He fires the shotgun in the back of the closest man. The falls down dead before he even hits the floor. The other two men see Demetrius and try to react, but Demetrius has already flipped the card table over and has drawn his two nines. He fires about four shots into each man, all of them hitting them directly in the chest. Demetrius stands over the bloody bodies with the two nines in his hand and the shotgun at his feet. A sadistic smile comes over his face as he stares the the damage he has caused in such a short amount of time. He stares at the nearest body and can instantly feel a wave of anger rush through his body. He draws his leg back and kicks the carcass in the face. A disgusting snap can be heard and the body's neck is now bent at an awkward angle. Demetrius stares the the body as he can hear something slowly clapping behind him. He turns around, ready to fire on whoever it is.
"That was very impressive Demetrius." The man says as he lowers his hands to his side.
The man stands about six foot four. He is built very athletically. His long black hair is pulled back into a ponytail. He is wearing an all black shirt and a pair of jeans. Demetrius points the guns directly at his head.
"Why shouldn't I empty the rest of these clips into you?" Demetrius asks in a growl.
The man laughs aloud and points in the direction of Reggie. Demetrius looks through a window in the room and can see a very heavy set man with shotgun pointed at the back of Reggie's head. Demetrius' whole demeanor changes as he realizes that he is no longer in control of the situation.
"Now thats what I thought. Have a seat, so we can have a little talk." The man requests as he points towards the flipped table.
Demetrius steps back, guns still in hand as the man puts the table back on its legs and hands Demetrius a chair.
"Please, I insist." The man says as he takes a seat on the other side of the table.
Demetrius hesitates, but takes a seat. He looks back to where Reggie is and is surprised to see that Reggie has not been harmed in any way aside from the bullet wound on his thigh. Confused, Demetrius turns to the man.
"Why did you take him!?" Demetrius demands, his head a mess now.
"Well, thats why I would like to talk to you. I wanted to meet with the man that Reggie has talked so much about." The man says with a smile.
Demetrius looks up, his head spinning now as he thinks about what he has just done.
"Wh..what do you mean?" Demetrius asks, feeling like he is going to pass out.
The man laughs.
"Well, when we couldn't get a hold of you to have you meet up with us for a brief discussion, we decided to take matters into our own hands. With Reggie's help, we have full access to all of your bank accounts and assets. Everything that was once yours has been transferred to our account now." The man smirks.
Demetrius cocks in eyebrow.
"This whole thing has been about money for you?" Demetrius asks, his face beginning to get hot as his anger starts to over power everything.
"No, it has been about more than that. I don't care about the money, Demetrius. I am into a lot of illegal activities and money is something that I have an immense amount of. I don't need yours as I can barely find enough shit to buy with my own. I wanted to see you tear yourself down from the inside out. I hate to say it, but here recently you have seem to become a hero of some sorts. People look up to you from every direction because of your drive and determination. They see you as super human. I wanted to remind you and them that you are no better than the rest of us. You have proved that here to me today by killing these four innocent men." The man replies referring to the bodies on the floor.
"Innocent? They were all part of this!" Demetrius yells as he waves his guns about.
The man begins to laugh hysterically.
"These three? I hired them to come in here and sit for a few days for no damn reason! I knew you were at a boiling point and that you would come for revenge and your cousin eventually. You killed three innocent man just to have a chance at saving someone who is your own flesh and blood. Is that the kind of example you should be setting for the kids these days Demetrius? Parents don't want their kids watching a convicted murderer." The man replies.
Demetrius begins to absorb everything and make sense of it when he notices the camera above him. He has been caught on camera brutally murdering three men!
"You son of a bitch." Demetrius growls.
"Hm. See unlike you, I think before I act. There is no way that you can tie me with this kidnapping. There are no bruises on your cousin caused by me. I have not touch anything in here to leave finger prints. Looks like I am going to be walking away scott free while you are going to take the blame for everything." The man stands up and extends his hand for a congratulatory hand shake.
Demetrius knocks his hand away and drops his guns. He decks the man, forcing him out of the room and into the large area where Reggie is. Demetrius begins to beat the shit out of the man as the heavyset man watches. After a few seconds, he comes to his bosses aid. Demetrius turns his attention from the boss and begins to work the shotgun away from the big man. Demetrius steps back and fires the shotgun into the man's stomach causing him to fall over dead. Demetrius looks up, only to see the boss pull Reggie from the chair and put a gun to his head. He smirks at Demetrius.
"I told you that I would get away Demetrius. I hope you can deal with having his blood on your hands too!" The man screams.
Demetrius screams as he hears a gunshot. A bullet goes whizzing by his head and directly into the chest of Reggie, passing through him into the heart of the man holding him captive. Demetrius looks back only to see a shadowed figure standing there with a smoking gun in his hand. Feeling like he no longer controls his body, Demetrius runs to the fallen body of Reggie. Reggie is bleeding profusely, but is still alive. Demetrius can't help but cry as he drops to his knees and holds his little cousin in his hands. Reggie looks up at him.
"I....I knew you would come." Reggie manages to spit out through the blood and pain.
Tears begin to stream down Demetrius' face as he stares at his cousin.
"I'm so sorry Reggie. I didn't make it in time. I wasn't able to keep my promise. I was supposed to protect you." Demetrius cries out.
Reggie coughs, forcing blood out through his mouth.
"You...you...did what you could. Just tell mom I lo....love................" Reggie's voice trails off as his last breath escapes his body.
Demetrius cries over the fallen body of Reggie. He looks up towards the heavens and lets out a scream.
"RRRRRREEEEEEGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!"
[glow=red,2,300]Scene III: A Suspect?[/glow]
"And you said you have this dream every night?" Ms. Davis, a middle aged woman with wide brimmed glasses asks Demetrius as he finishes describing his reoccurring dream.
"Every single night." Demetrius replies as he stares off into space.
Taking the advice of Tom Devil, Demetrius has decided to go see a psychologist. He has never really trusted in them, but he wanted to hear Tom quit bitching for a while. His reoccurring dream of almost saving Reggie but then losing him has been something he can not get over. Demetrius fears that he is losing his mind and that there is nothing that can top it. He has to save Reggie before it's too late.
"Wow. I have a feeling that you are having a battle within yourself. Something that I can not really help you with. Your dream shows signs of your fear of failure and of loss." Ms. Davis replies as she is almost unsure of what to say.
Demetrius nods his head, knowing that she isn't going to give him any advice that will help him. Suddenly his phone begins to ring signaling he has a new voice mail. He pulls his cellphone out of his pocket and dials his voice mail.
"Um...Demetrius?" Ms. Davis asks, trying to get his attention.
Demetrius holds a finger to her, telling her to wait a second. The message begins to play instantly.
"Demetrius, we got some shit bro. Looks like your family members are coming forth and trying to say that they think you have something to do with it. They are wanting to pin the kidnapping on you and everything if you don't settle with them in court. They are trying to take all your money man. We need to talk." Tom Devils says as his voice trails off.
Demetrius hangs the phone up and stand to his feet. Without saying anything to Ms. Davis, he exits the room.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene IV: Game Time.[/glow]
Th scene opens up with Demetrius Randall standing in front of a camera. He is wearing a Fallen logo t-shirt and a pair of black jeans. His eyes seem to show a fire never seen before. He gets right into his speech about his opponent.
"Spike, the day draws nearer where we will step into that ring a decide who will become the first World Heavyweight champion. My anticipation is at a peak as I can not wait to step into the ring with you. We may both be members of the same faction, but I feel we would be able to put n a better show than anyone else in KWF ever can. The tournament we took part in boiled it down to the two most qualified superstars to hold the most prestigious title that KWF has to offer. I feel honored to be in a match like this against a man of your talent Spike.
I am glad to hear that you have been training yourself harder than ever for our match. That is what I intended to make you do. I want to make you better and I want you to make me better. I feel that we are the only ones who can give each other a challenge at the moment here in KWF. This means that we will have a truly epic and memorable match.
I have researched more into your background and I have come to see that you have had thirteen separate world title reigns in your entire career. This is very impressive in my opinion. This shows that you have been to the top of the mountain several times and that you are not a one hit wonder. I on the other hand, sit here with only one world title reign to my name. The facts state it all Spike. You are obviously the seasoned veteran in this match. You have beaten the best and there have been few opponents that have been able to pull you down to their level. I don't plan on pulling you down at all Spike. I want to push you to a new level because this match is going to be a huge learning experience for the Fallen. We are young, but we are full of a talent. We have potential and we have the drive.
I heard a saying a few years back that has stuck with me up to this point. It goes a little something like hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. What happens when you get a group of wrestlers who are the best of both worlds? We have the talent and we bust our asses in that ring. What will that go and get us? Exactly what it has this week. Every single member of the Fallen has a chance to win a title. Not every single member will be able to have a title to their name though as our match features only us. I love this situation as either way it goes, the Fallen will have the KWF World Heavyweight championship as a member."
Demetrius licks his lips and continues on.
"I like this situation we are in, but it is one that I am not used to. I am not used to having to wrestle a friend. Usually when I come to a fed, I am the lone wolf...the man thats shuts himself from the world so that he may focus on what really matters...winning. I didn't think camaraderie meant anything until I joined the Fallen. I now know that I was missing that brotherhood in my past wrestling experiences. Going down to that ring without knowing someone has your back is something that can hurt you mentally in a match. You know more than anyone else now Spike, that I don't like to lose anything.
Our match has several headlines that can be used. One of the main ones is my current undefeated record since the new year has began. I have won fourteen straight matches and have honestly forgot how to lose. I don't know what it is, but once you get so used to something, it becomes a part of you. The Fallen has become a part of me too. I am here to look after my brothers backs like I know they will mine, but I don't want that holding you back in our match at Redemption Spike. We may be friends, but I want you to go and give me everything that you have. I don't want you to go down there and make it easy on me because you want our friendship to stay in tact. Believe me, Spike, our friendship will not be hurt by our match. If anything it will raise our level of respect for each other. We have watched each other wrestle, but we have never had the opportunity to step into the ring with one another.
I want you to give me your all Spike. I want you to try to break me in half. Maybe that is actually what I need. I feel like I am getting pretty cocky with all this winning stuff ha.If anyone beats me, I want it to be you on one of the biggest stages possible. What's better than a KWF PPV? SO I stand here asking, no, begging you to come down as the sadistic Spike Kane that I saw attack and take Steve Anderson from this very tournament. I want to wrestle that Spike Kane. The one that feels he has nothing to lose because causing pain is so much fun for him. I don't care about injury, I just want to give these fans what they want. I can't help but think that everyone feels our match will be a disappointment because we are friends. I want to go out there and prove them wrong Spike. Please help me prove them wrong.
Until we meet, I will countdown the minutes in anticipation. I want to step into that ring with you. When th two best wrestlers step into the same thing, what is bound to happen? A match to remember. Ours will be a match to remember Spike. If you don't come down to the ring prepared to fight, I will take advantage of it and I will win the match Spike. I will be coming with everything I got as I want this title around my waist. Do you want to be champion? Come down to the ring and show me Spike. The Fallen is here to stay, but we must crown a king of kings. Will it be you or I?"
Demetrius smirks into the camera as the scene fades.

[glow=red,2,300]Scene IV: Game Time.[/glow]
