[glow=red,2,300]Scene I: Inner Thoughts[/glow]
This routine is getting really monotonous. I go out there and I win. I know most people would be thrilled, but I can't help but feel a little ....well, bored. I know that it is great that I am winning every match thrown at me but I want a real challenge. I'm tired of people telling me they are going to go and give me their all only for them to fall short of the expectations I had for them. I hate being disappointed honestly. I want to go out there and be the best but I don't want to do it without a great match every now and then. I want someone who will make people question if I can be beaten based on their performance against me. Right now, everyone see me as a god of some sorts. They think that I can do no wrong. I am just as human as everyone on this earth...I just seem to have a gift that most don't. I can wrestle exceptionally well, but I want to show everyone what I can do when I am backed into a corner. I want to show what I can do when I am almost down and out. I have not been able to experience that yet. I want to win but I want to do it by beating the best.
At Assault, all of you saw the beginning of something great happening. The Fallen have assembled and we are ready to take our rightful place as the kings of KWF. The four of us have been in talks secretly for a few months now about making this happen. We knew what we were going to do long ago, but we just needed the right time to share it with the world. We felt that time was last week. Many people have been criticizing me for deciding to join up with a well known heel like Spike Kane. I felt like I needed a change and I am hoping this new faction can bring that. Four of the top superstars in KWF have joined forces and we are ready to wreck havoc on everything and everyone. I have held back in my recent matches, trying to be more of a good guy. I am no longer going to take that path. I have been the hero for far too long...it is time I see what it is like being a villain. I need to do this and see which one is more me. I was successful as a hero but it wasn't entertaining enough for me.
I jumped sides and look at the company that I now keep. I am surrounded by three of the best wrestlers that KWF has to offer. Tyler Lucas, Cain Alexander and I have all had conversations in the past about being the best. We never spoke it, but we all knew a day like this was bound to happen sooner or later. We all had the same goals in mind. We want gold around our waist and we want to be known as the best. We have that very opportunity this week.
I am stuck in a weird predicament as I must step into the ring with one of my fellow brothers and fight for the title that I have been trying to get for as long as I can remember. I may have only been in KWF two weeks, but I have dreamed about holding a title as prestigious as this for ages. I may be undefeated this year, but I have yet to win a World title. I have no idea why, but it has seemed to elude me. Every time I get close, it falls between my fingers. I won't let it happen this time. I may be facing one of my fellow faction members, but I can guarantee you that I will go down to that ring and fight with everything I have. I don't want to lose and neither does Spike Kane. That makes for a very epic math-up.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene II: Why Me?[/glow]
The scene opens up with Demetrius standing in the bathroom of his hotel room. He stands with his hands rested over the sink, bent over. He seems to be carefully examining himself in the mirror. With wide eyes he stares at the reflection of him. He shakes his head and looks down at the tattoo on his forearm. The words seem to stand out more and more everyday. Demetrius looks back up at the mirror only to see the reflection of his cousin Reggie Randall, rather than his own.
"What the fuck?" Demetrius proclaims aloud as he stares at his cousin through the mirror.
"No need to be alarmed." The angel says with soft words.
Demetrius looks down at his own attire, just to confirm that he is himself and has not somehow changed into Reggie. Demetrius shakes his head and looks back up.
"Why are you here this time?" Demetrius asks, not knowing if his tone is acceptable.
The angel places a hand on the mirror.
"No need to be alarmed." The angel says with a blank expression.
Demetrius' eyes get real wide and he begins to cop an attitude.
"No need? What the fuck do you mean? I'm sitting here talking to a fucking angel for fucks sake!" Demetrius proclaims as he begins to lose his temper.
Demetrius steps back and begins to pace back and forth. The angel's reflection stays put and watches with a continued blank expression. After a couple of minutes, Demetrius looks up at the angel.
"Why are you here?" Demetrius asks.
The angel gives Demetrius a smile.
"I have good news for you. I am here to tell you where your cousin is." The angel replies.
Demetrius looks up as a smile spreads across his face.
"Why didn't you just say that from the beginning?" Demetrius asks with a laugh.
"The man up there loves to see how you react to certain situations. I mean, an angel came down to speak with you and you use curse words and are disrespectful. There aren't many people like that in this world." The angel says as the smile disappears.
"What can I say? Maybe he can only make perfect once." Demetrius says with a laugh.
The angel nods and refers to its hand on the mirror. Demetrius looks at it and then back at the angel. He nods, telling Demetrius to lace his hand on his. Slowly, Demetrius makes his way to the mirror and places his hand on the mirror. As he does, the mirror shatters and instantly he is in a free fall of a black pit. Wind is passing him at a speed unknown to man, but for some reason Demetrius is unaffected. Demetrius feels dizzy and then instantly, he can see again. Demetrius is standing in the corner of a room. In the center of the room is Reggie, tied to a chair by rope. From the angle he is standing, Demetrius can see that his face is cut and bruised, most likely from the beatings he has received from his captors. Demetrius takes a few steps forward and calls out.
"Reggie!" Demetrius whispers trying to get his attention.
Reggie doesn't move. Demetrius takes a few steps forward when he hears a door open. Demetrius steps back into the shadows and watches two large men come in, each carrying a baseball bat. One of the men walks up to Reggie and grabs him by his hair.
"You ready to talk yet you little piece of shit?!" The man asks in a deep raspy.
Reggie tries to cough up an answer but can only manage to shake his head no. The large man gets angered and drops the bat. He then proceeds to smack Reggie repeatedly with the back of his hand. He lets go of Reggie's head and takes a step back. Having seen enough, Demetrius steps out from the shadows.
"Leave him alone!" Demetrius demands in a deep, snarling voice.
Both the men look up towards the area Demetrius is standing.
"Did you hear that?" The furthest man back asks.
The one closest to Reggie turns back to him.
"No, now lets beat this fucker up some more and then go get lunch."
The man steps forward and begins to pummel Reggie with fists this time. Demetrius quickly moves from his spot and attempts to tackle the man to the ground...only to pass right through him! Demetrius hits the ground with a thud and looks back behind him only to see both men now beating the living hell out of Reggie. Demetrius' vision begins to blur and in an instant he is standing back in his bathroom staring at Reggie through the mirror.
"No!!!!!! Send me back! I have to save him!" Demetrius yells.
The angel is just standing there with another blank expression.
"I said I would show you where he is...not take you there myself. You must travel on your own to this place." The angel says as he emphasizes' with his hands.
Demetrius stands there, angered. He balls his fists and stares at the angel.
"You...your doing this shit on purpose, aren't you?" Demetrius yells.
The angel just stares at Demetrius.
"I am not doing anything Demetrius. You are the one who is doing all these things. I am trying to help you but you just aren't understanding me clearly." The angel replies.
Demetrius gives the angel a cold stare. Demetrius cocks back his fist and punches the mirror. The mirror cracks all the way through the frame, but it does not shatter.
"Bad move, Demetrius." The angel warns before disappearing from the mirror.
Demetrius is breathing heavily as blood begins to flow from a cut on his hand. He looks down at it as the blood drips onto the floor. He looks up in time just to see the mirror explode before him. Demetrius spreads his arms out and lets out a roar as the glass cuts into his flesh from several angles. When the dust clears, Demetrius is laying on the ground motionless. The scene fades.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene III: A Letter[/glow]
Dear Spike Kane,
I sit here in a hospital bed for only the second time in my life. They will not allow me to bring a camera crew in a shoot a short promo because it is against some rule or something so I decided to write you a letter instead and let you know what is going on. Tell Tyler and Cain not to worry as I have only received a minor injury. This injury will be healed in a matter of a day or two and I will be aloud to leave the hospital and come rejoin my Fallen brothers. I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of this new faction. A faction like this is rare to come by. Think of it as KWF's version of Evolution, only with a happy ending for us all.
I am very glad that I decided to come over here to KWF, as if I hadn't I would not be one step away from winning a World title. I am glad that I was thrusted into this tournament with the only complaint coming from my opponent. I am also very glad that it boiled down to you and I in the finals for this tournament. This means that either way, the Fallen will have the World Heavyweight champion as a member. This is what we wanted from the very beginning. We want the Fallen to run KWF. This may not be your main goal, but I can't help but have it as mine. We have the top four wrestlers in the KWF, meaning that there is no one to change us for rule.
But last week, we found out about two people who will most likely oppose us the entire time we are working together. Noah Hanson and Steve Anderson are the wrestler we need to keep our eyes on. I do not fear either, but I have a feeling that they will soon try to soon lead a resistance against us after we get the majority of the titles in KWF.
I can't believe just two weeks ago you were trying to convince me to come sign up here at KWF. Look at me now, Spike! I am sorry to say, but you are the reason that I am here in the finals against you for the World Heavyweight title. I know you would have wanted to face someone else as not only will I give you a challenge, but I am a fellow stablemate. This match will not tear us apart before we get started. If anything it will help kick off our reign as the top wrestlers in KWF. People will see what we can do and they will watch in awe as we give them one of the greatest matches ever seen.
I do not see as my enemy Spike, but rather as a worthy opponent. I have been looking for someone who can push me to the next level for a long time now. I feel that I need someone with as much talent as myself to come out there and force me to wrestle in a way never thought possible. I have not found that opponent yet, but I have a feeling it is you. I know our match will be a challenging one for me, so I am hoping it is the one that finally pushes me over the edge and into a legendary level, never seen by man.
You spoke of your record of turning your back on your stable mates and partners. I don't see this as a worry. People do what they feel they must do to get better. What you did has obviously worked for you as you, like myself, is one step away from becoming World Heavyweight champion. If you turn your back on me...well, we will see what happens if that situation ever happens.
I find this difficult because I am so used to have to bad mouth my opponents that it is different for me to face someone like you Spike. Just know that I will not hold back in the ring just because we are stable mates. I want that title as much as you do and I am willing to shed my own blood and destroy my own body if it means that I get to go home with that title. You have appointed yourself as our leader and I am not one to argue that. You have more experience than I do and that is why I feel you are more suited for the position than I. People still want to know who the better wrestler is between us though. We will show them. We will go down to that ring and put on something never seen before. The funny thing is, when it is all said and done the winner will not be Spike Kane or Demetrius Randall, but the Fallen will be the true champion!
Sincerely,
Demetrius Randall
